For the iconic electronic music pioneers Kraftwerk, I produced a limited edition capsule collection celebrating Kraftwerk's historic nine-night residency with the LA Philharmonic at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. As creative partners, I developed a series of nine hand-lacquered skateboard artworks, each representing a pivotal album from the electronic pioneers' five-decade catalog spanning 1974-2017. My approach transformed functional skateboards into sculptural collectibles, applying Kraftwerk's iconic Bauhaus-inspired album graphics to create museum-quality pieces that bridged popular culture and high art. The collection's exclusive availability at Comme des Garçons’ Dover Street Market and one-time production run reinforced its position as both cultural artifact and coveted design object.
